PROJECT 3:

"The goal of this project is to get students working in multiple genres, so that they develop a theory and practice of composing in multiple modes to mimic the nature of professional work in which colleagues work together to develop ideas and create solutions." 

CHILDREN BEYOND OUR BORDERS - FSU CHAPTER FLYER 

I chose to do a flyer for one of my genres because it's an efficient way of getting the word out about the club. This flyer can be printed out and passed out to people, or put under people's doors, or even be put under car windshield wipers. However, it can also be posted on the club's social media sites.

PICTURE SLIDESHOW

The reason I made a picture slideshow for my second genre is because it shows new club members or interested newcomers what the volunteers do in the cities they go to on the Bound for Peace mission trips. I'm the secretary of the club now so I think the slideshow could be an interesting thing to show at the first GBM of the next semester 

I thought making a kahoot! would be an interesting  genre because it's educational and can teach new club members some of the hardships and statistics of Cartagena while still making it interesting and attention-catching.
